Co-Health: Art, Wellbeing and Care – Training communicative and relational skills through theatre
Which role can creativity and art have in the training of doctors and nurses’ professional skills? Can theatre become a promoter for wellbeing and resilience? Do the competences of care workers improve the quality of care and life for patients and their caregivers? Do they have an impact on health budgets?
The Co-Health. Arts, Wellbeing and Care international conference will end the two-year action research project Co-Health of the University of Turin co-funded by Fondazione Cassa di Risparmio di Torino and carried out by Social Community Theatre Centre|Unito in collaboration with a lot of healthcare system partners, such as Asl To3, A.O. Ordine Mauriziano, Fondazione Medicina a Misura di Donna (Medical Foundation for Women’s Health) and Dors. The conference considers inserts itself across the board in the innovative European context of scientific research and in the best practice related to Culture, Wellbeing and Community and connects with the topics debated in the Theatre, Health and Well-Being Forum 2013.
