Plural Communities and Inclusive Societies

SCT Centre | Unito is in charge of planning and producing theatrical activities as well as performing arts, together with citizens, that aim to

• enhance the plurality related to identity, gender, condition – with particular attention to the differences and fragilities
• build inclusive societies guided by values of respect, acceptance and solidarity
• promoting cultural actions of audience development able to cause real social impact
• add some value to the community cultural heritage and build bridges between memory of the past and visions of the future

There are several projects already ongoing, such as Caravan. Artists on the road (www.projectcaravan.eu), winner – as first classified – of European Union Culture Competition 2001-2014. Dramaturgy of the community, Narrative Theatre, barters, parades, workshops are part of the working methods of this area.

In the perspective of research intervention, SCT Centre | Unito performs with its team and with its network of collaborators, design activities, scientific advice, methodological supervision, direction and management.
