During the four days, participants were able to receive training on intervention models in emergency and development cooperation contexts, developed from recently completed or currently ongoing SCT Centre projects:

• The Psychosocial assistance for children, youth and their families affected by the crisis in Libya project (2013)
• The SCT intervention within the CIFA Onlus Tutte a scuola  (All Girls to School) program in Ethiopia (2014)
• The SCT intervention within the CIFA Onlus Migrazione irregolare: un’alternativa possibile (Irregular Migration: A Possible Alternative) project in Ethiopia (2016/17)
• The project in the Bentiu refugee camp in South Sudan within the psychosocial peacekeeping mission organized by IOM (2017)

During the workshop, moments of collective training alternated with moments of individual assessment, experiential action-leading workshops, and spaces for the presentation of development cooperation projects and interventions: Marco Pastori of CIFA Onlus presented a report on migrations from Ethiopia to Saudi Arabia, Monk Stefano Luca illustrated the project “We’re human, we’re children, not soldiers”, Silvia Cerrone of SCT Centre described the psychological support model during projects in emergency contexts.
