Spazio BAC – Barolo Arti con le Comunità is the first local cultural center dedicated to Cultural Welfare.
Spazio BAC, located in the Barolo Social District, is the vibrant hub of our activities. It was created to bring together culture, well-being, and social inclusion in the Aurora district, a neighborhood undergoing significant urban regeneration and social innovation, involving residents, social workers, and artists.
As Italy’s first local cultural centre dedicated to cultural welfare, Spazio BAC offers a wide range of free activities and participatory spaces for the community, focusing on health, social cohesion, and training. In partnership with CCW and Filieradarte, we work to integrate the services provided by public and third-sector organizations to meet the needs of the district, promoting active citizen participation and community development.

Spazio BAC – Barolo Arti con le Comunità (Barolo Arts with Communities) is located in the Barolo Social District and is managed by the Social Community Theatre Centre | Corep. It collaborates with the Department of Humanistic Studies of the University of Turin and the Teatro Popolare Europeo Cultural Association and has Filieradarte and CCW – Cultural Welfare Center as partners.
Spazio BAC is the winning project of the 2019 call of the Opera Barolo for the assignment of a space in the Social District. The renovation was carried out with the contribution of the Compagnia di San Paolo Foundation.
