Theory and Techniques of Educational and Social Theatre [ITA]
A. Pontremoli, UTET, 2005
Reactivating theatrical communication, both as a premise for the creation of a real community and as a consequence of the life of an existing community, responds to the profound need for relationship. It is, in short, the profound removal of unease and malaise to its root, it is the reintroduction of a paradigm not only ethical, but also and above all aesthetic, which brings the individual back to reality and instills in him the vital force to provoke change. Starting from these premises, in the first part of the volume, the basic theoretical elaboration of a new discipline in the horizon of university studies is presented, labeled as Theory and techniques of educational and social theater.
In the second part, a group of scholars, starting from a point of view internal to the problematic or from disciplinary angles complementary to the object in question, such as community psychology, the dramaturgy of experience, music therapy, dance therapy, offers insights for reflection, analysis of actions and operational paths that originate precisely from the scientific perspective of which the entire volume intends to give reason.
