We reflected on the meaning of exchange and culture, sharing stories and images that taste of home.
Marco Cinnirella and Elisa Biava are engaged in Crotone as part of the Io non viaggio solo project of Sos Children’s Villages in partnership with SCT Centre. They carry out Social and Community Theatre workshops in First Reception Centers (CAS) with unaccompanied foreign minors.
In recent months we have not traveled great distances, but we have traveled through the words of those we have met to whom we have given voice in an attempt to offer another point of view.
They reflected together with young Italians and foreigners on the meaning of exchange and culture and, on the occasion of the World Day against Racism, they organized a parade through the streets of Crucoli, asking each participant to bring a sign with written on it the two or three things that he would give to a person who does not know his country. “Chocolate… the Duomo of Milan… the Black Sea”, “Mucceddato… Acquapark… Tardiddi”… “Peppers… Natural beauties… Squares”. Everyone had their say.
In this testimony we find an example.
