Autumn arrives, the sky turns gray, the leaves fall from the trees… But no! In Ethiopia, the rainy season has just ended and the sun shines high and hot on the streets of Hayk. It is right here that we finish the first phase of the project in style, with the meeting of the last 40 local users and a memorable community celebration, which continued for more than an hour on the lawn outside the Public Hall, with songs, dances and – of course – coffee.
But October was also an important month because we planted the first seed of the second phase of the project: “The Path of Life”, the game of goose on irregular migration that we created based on the stories collected during the workshops and interviews with our users, passed the first test!
Now all we have to do is leave for the last mission, armed with board and dice: we will tour the schools with our board game under our arms, to talk once again about the risks that illegality entails… Ethiopian children, we’re coming!
