CARAVAN NEXT. FEED THE FUTURE: ART MOVING CITIES
The Social Community Theatre Centre is pleased to invite you to follow the official press conference for the launch of the European project CARAVAN NEXT. FEED THE FUTURE: ART MOVING CITIES, winner of the Creative Europe 2015 large-scale call for proposals, via live streaming. The project was conceived by SCT CENTRE | Unito (Methodological Supervision) together with Nordisk Teaterlaboratorium – Odin Teatret (Lead Partner).

The CARAVAN NEXT project, launched on September 1, 2015, has the collaboration of 13 partners from 11 European countries, all of whom will be present at the press conference.
CARAVAN NEXT will activate 30 Social Community Theatre events in 21 European and non-European countries on the theme “the European challenges of the third millennium”. Each community we work with will choose its own European challenge, which it feels close to in this historical moment, such as: environmental protection, the reception of other cultures, gender equality, the role of young people in contemporary society and many others.
Over three and a half years, the project plans to involve citizens from 21 European and non-European countries through the languages of Social and Community Theatre and about 90,000 participants.
In total, 13 partners: Nordisk Teaterlaboratorium – Odin Teatret (DK), SCT Centre | Unito, Department of Humanities Studies – Unito (IT), Association des Agences de la Democratie Locale (FR), Bürgerstiftung Rohrmeisterei Schwerte (DE), Centro de Arte y Producciones Teatrales SL (ES), Farm in the Cave (CZ), Kulturno Izobrazevalno Drustvo Kibla (SI), Omma Studio Private Non Profit Company (GR), Società Consortile per Azioni OGR-CRT (IT), Stichting ZID (NL), Stowarzyszenie Edukacyjno – Spoleczno – Kulturalne Teatr Brama (PL), Technical University of Crete (GR), Truc Spherique (SK) and 30 other associated partners at European and global level.
