The TIM^2 Training of Trainers in Greece promotes innovation in teaching with theatre and performative languages.
The international training of the Erasmus+ TIM^2 – Teaching Mathematics Using Drama project, held from October 2nd to 6th on the island of Lesvos, Greece, has successfully concluded.
28 trainers from Italy, Norway, Portugal and Greece (7 from each country) participated in this intense experiential training, focused on the innovative techniques that make up the TIM^2 methodology: Mathemart (developed by SCT Centre) and Process Drama (from the Norwegian partner HVL).
The group of trainers, composed of actors, trainers and mathematics teachers, is now ready to disseminate the TIM^2 methodology in their respective countries, in turn training over 20 primary and secondary school teachers.
The project’s goal is ambitious: to reach a total of 600 teachers and 9,000 students, promoting an innovative approach to mathematics teaching that uses theatre and performative languages as learning tools.
